Imani C. Williams, a vibrant and talented college student and hairstylist, touched the lives of those around her with her creativity, compassion, and infectious energy. Born on May 11, 2003, Imani was the cherished daughter of Isaac Williams and Angela Williams. Her sudden departure on May 12, 2023, has left her family, friends, and the community devastated. Imani's passion for both education and hairstyling was evident in every aspect of her life. She successfully balanced her studies at Southern University A&M College School of Business with her blossoming career as a hairstylist. Imani's artistic flair and dedication to her craft made her a sought-after professional, admired by clients and colleagues alike. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel beautiful and confident, leaving a lasting impression on all those who sat in her chair. Born into a loving and supportive family, Imani shared a special bond with her siblings, Amarhy and Alef Williams. Together, they experienced the joys and challenges of life, creating cherished memories that will forever be treasured. Imani's parents, Isaac and Angela, provided unwavering love and encouragement, nurturing her dreams and celebrating her accomplishments. Imani's grandparents, (Paternal) the late Isaac Williams, Dr. Ethel Jones, and (Maternal) the late Percy Welch, and Dr. Irene Welch-Streeter, played pivotal roles in shaping her character and values. Their wisdom and guidance were invaluable to her journey, and their memories will forever be cherished. She also leaves behind aunts and uncles who held special places in her heart: Hulonda McWilliams, Arthur Robertson, Kenneth Welch, Tinisha Robinson, Keiana Malone, Christopher Welch, and Leslie Welch. Their love and support brought immeasurable joy to Imani's life. Imani's light extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of countless cousins, friends, and extended family members. Her sweet meek personality, genuine kindness, and ability to uplift others created deep and lasting connections. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A Funeral Service to celebrate and honor Imani's remarkable life will be held at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment: Private. The Williams family invites all friends, relatives, and those whose lives were touched by Imani to join them in commemorating her spirit, resilience, and remarkable legacy. Imani C. Williams will forever be remembered for her infectious energy, creative talent, and compassionate heart.
