Earl Norman Montgomery

Earl Norman Montgomery, 64, of New Orleans, Louisiana, departed this life on September 18, 2025. He was born on April 4, 1961, to the late Earl Montgomery, Sr. and Wilhelmina Parker Rodriguez. He grew up in New Orleans and later moved to New Jersey, where he was educated in both Orleans Parish and Camden County public school systems. As a young man, he returned to New Orleans where he met and married the love of his life, Sandra Marshall Montgomery. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and faith, and raised five children with devotion and care. Earl was widely known for his skill as a sheetrock finisher, painter and carpenter. He was dedicated to his craft and was respected for his precision, dedication and pride, qualities that made him admired by colleagues and clients alike. Family was Earl's greatest joy. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren and held close the bonds with his sister and extended family in Atlanta, GA. Whether through a phone call, visit, or simply showing up when needed, Earl's warmth and devotion shone through. He made time for everyone. If it was important to his loved ones, it was important to him. The memories he created will be cherished forever. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, son Earl N. Montgomery, III and his brother-in-law Dedrick Marshall. His memory lives on through his four children: Tyeasha Montgomery, Keyandra Montgomery, Lashondra Marshall and Jerry Marshall and his beloved sister, Nellis Rodriguez Foster (Darren). He is also cherished by his sisters-in-law Marilyn, Sheryl, Tiffany, Gwen, Cynthia and brother-in-law Kirk Marshall. Earl leaves behind a loving extended family of grandchildren, an uncle, an aunt, cousins and nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Earl's legacy of love, kindness and dedication will live on in all who knew him.
