Troy Allen Henderson Sr. departed this life on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 60. He was born on August 17, 1961 in New Orleans, La to Rose Williams and the late Nicholas Henderson and raised by stepfather Lawrence Williams. Troy was the beloved husband of Lauren Reed Henderson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Louis and Rosalie Blackmore, devoted aunt Linda Blackmore and son Troy Allen Henderson Jr. Troy was the loving father of Brandon (Ophelia) Henderson and stepfather of Keisha R. Ferdinand, Latisha Reed and William Reed. He is survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Troy was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La. and a graduate of Oliver Perry Walker High School. He was employed for many years with Goodwill, Jani King, and First Klass Enterprise LLC., where he worked on the Naval Base and several Orleans Parish schools. Family and friends are invited to attend a Homegoing celebration at Rhodes Funeral Home, 1020 Virgil St. Gretna, La 70053 on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10:00 am. Visitation begin at 9:00 am.
