Thad White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thad Willis “T.W.” White entered into eternal rest at the age of 89 years old on January 22, 2022. He spent his final days peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Tylertown, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Colia White, his parents Delois and Wilda White, one sister, Roseline Price, four brothers Ernest “Suge” White, Ezekiel “Evan” White, Lloyd “Newt” White, Repoleon “John” White, one daughter Alice “Jeannie” King, one grandson J.D. “Fat” Guild, and one great grandson Desmond “Plucky” Guild. He is survived by his daughters Rose White, Cathy Washington, and Penny Perrier, sons Henry “Curley” White and Gilbert White, two God Daughters Debbie McNair and Deldra Sampson, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren and a hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. White was a longtime employee of B. E. King & Sons as a Bricklayer. He was a Deacon and Treasurer at Shiloh #2 Baptist Church where he was affectionally known as Bro. White under the leadership of the late Rev. Ernest L. Porter, Sr. After Hurricane Katrina, he joined First Love Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Larry Crockett where he remained a prominent Deacon. He was a jack of all trades and loved fixing things around the house and the church. The service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Cypress Grove Baptist Church, 901 31st Street, Kenner, LA. Visitation at 9:00 am and service will begin at 10:00 am. Interment at Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum at 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. Due to Covid restrictions, everyone must wear mask or proper face coverings. Arrangements by D.W.
