Taeshawn Tae Kemp Tobias Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Taeshawn “Tae” Kemp-Tobias, age 20, passed away on July 19, 2022. He was a resident of New Orleans, La. Taeshawn attended Benjamin Franklin Elementary/Extension for Pre K-8th grade, and later moving on to Warren Easton, then International High School where he later graduated. Taeshawn was employed by Popeye’s on Paris Ave. and he enjoyed working, spending time with his family and friends, playing on his Play Station, until his fingers were numb, and eating noodles every chance he had. Taeshawn was a member of Triumphant Congregational Methodist Church, under Pastor Jonathan Smith. He leaves to cherish his memories, 12 siblings: Ryan Tobias, Michael Tobias, Timothy Johnson, Johnnae Morris, Hakeem Morris, Tasia Morris, Tyme Morrison, Timmie Robiho, Destini Ross, Riley Doucet, Tyren Morrison, Kaydell Price, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Parents: Timothy Kemp (Father), Shannon Tobias-Ross (Mother), and Alvin Ross (Step-Father). Larry Tatum (God Father), Brenda Griffith (Grandmother). He was preceded in death by grandparents Theresa Morris, Theard Simms and Joyce Kemp. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave., on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. Everyone in attendance must wear a mask.
