Philip Soublet Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Philip Joseph Soublet Jr. was born July 6th, 1990 in Denver, Colorado. He entered eternal rest on June 11, 2022 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Philip was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Soublet and Lawrence Soublet Sr., of New Orleans, LA., grandparents, Jamie and Sammy Linnie of Denver, CO., his uncles, Lawrence Soublet Jr. and Robert Linnie, his cousin Dwayne Linnie, and good friend, Jonathan Smith. To cherish his memory, he leaves his parents, Philip Soublet Sr. and Suzette Linnie, his step-mother, Debra Soublet, one son, Philip Hall, a brother, Paris Linnie, a sister, Endia Linnie, step-brothers, Raynell Smith and Troitdall Smith, one step-sister, Keiann Smith, and close nephew, Furnell Smith, god-parents, David Soublet Sr. and Rosalyn Porter. He also leaves to cherish Ieasha Hall, and close companion, Laderika Smith, a host of aunts & uncles, relatives and friends. Philip Soublet Jr. attended Stuart Bradley Elementary and Gregory Jr. High Schools. He graduated from L.E. Rabouin High School in 2008. One of his favorite hobbies was writing and creating lyrics. He enjoyed rapping with his cousin, “Lolo.” He also enjoyed spending time with his son, “LiL PJ.” He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Philip was truly loved by his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by all of those who loved and cherished him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1923 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116, on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
