Miriam Ann Theophile Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Miriam Ann Edwards Theophile received her wings on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the age of 67. She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Richmon H. Edwards, Sr. and the late Zelder Edwards. She was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School and attended Nicholls State University. Miriam opened her heart to anyone and developed a myriad of lifelong friendships. She was a member of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church and was a member of the Hospitality. Miriam is the loving mother of Jeannine Lewis and son-in-law (Herman) and the late Lakisha Lewis. She also survived by one brother, Richmon H. Edwards, Jr. of New Orleans, La. and one sister, Amanda Scott of Ashburn, Va.; sister-in-law (Denice); uncles Woodrow Kellup of New Orleans, Sylvester Chantz of Kentucky; along with a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends. All are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Services which will be held at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church, 5600 Read Blvd. New Orleans, La. 70127 on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 am. The visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery 4000 Norman Mayer Ave. New Orleans, La. 70122.
