Mack is a member of Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Church and was a regular participant in his Sunday School class - Class “A”. He loved attending his Sunday School class. Mack was a proud alumnus of St. Augustine Senior High School and often talked about Father Grant and others who helped him as a young man to become part of an Afro-American school for young men that changed his life. He was an all-American athlete and played professional baseball for a short period of time. He did not get a chance to complete his latest desire, but his plan was to be a part of opening a school where young black men could enroll in classes to become AC/Heating Technicians, Electrical engineers, plumbers, etc. Mack started working for Shell Oil Company in the 70’s, moving on to Louisiana Land and Exploration as an Oil and Gas Accountant, where he retired. He attended Southern University of New Orleans. He received his license to become an AC/Heating Technician and worked diligently for many years, recently retiring. Loved by so many, full of wisdom and a wealth of knowledge. Rest in peace Brother Mack.
