Lynette Zanders passed away on May 03, 2022, in New Orleans, La. At Ochsner Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the last Tommie Ann Jackson Zanders and the late William Willie Zanders. Lynette was married to Clence Lindsey on June 14,1994 until she passed, she received her education in the New Orleans Parish School District. She was a pillar in her community, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by her loving children Lawianiea Penns, Lynell Zanders, Steve Zanders, Willie Zanders, Wilbur Zanders, and Wilfert Zanders. Her brothers and sisters Curtis Zanders, August Zanders, Willie Zanders, Stacy Zanders, Kentrone Zanders, Virgil Steward, Wilbert Hayes, Ella Hayes, and Ruth Hayes. And many grandkids. As she joins her sisters Marie Zanders, Janette Zanders, Annette Zanders, and Juanita Hayes and her son Antione Zanders. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1020 Virgil St. Gretna, La. 70053 on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. visitation will begin at 9:00 am.
