Krischel Krasha Burl

Krischel Krasha Burl (Krissy), age 22, a native of Gretna, LA and resident of Harvey, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 6:30 a.m. at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX with her parents at her side. A graduate of Cabrini High School, Class of 2009, Krissy was a Senior at Southern University in Baton Rouge majoring in social work. Beloved daughter of Pastor Reginald H. Burl, Sr. and Michelle Brue Burl, loving sister of Reginald H. Burl, Jr. and Chelsey Burl; sister-in-law of Timedra Burl, and devoted friend of Austin Hickerson. She is also survived by her grandmothers; Vera Brue and Margie Moore, Godparents Rev. Gregory Carter and Dianna Carter, a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also officers and members of First Mount Zion Baptist Church, Empire, LA, Pastor, officer and members of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, First African Baptist Church, Sixth District, Christian Ministers Missionary Baptist Association, Cornerstone General Missionary Baptist Association, Christian Bible College, Schlumberger, Jefferson Parish Public School System, Touro Hospital Infusion Center and 3rd Floor I.C.U., William Hart Elementary School; Early Intervention Department, Salem Lutheran School Alumni, Cabrini High School, Class of 2009 and Southern University and A & M College at Baton Rouge are invited to attend the viewing Friday, April 26 from 6-9 p.m. at First Mount Zion Baptist Church, 32250 Highway 23, Empire, LA.
