Kayren Nero Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kayren Nero entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 68 at her home with her family at her bedside. She was born May 16,1953 in Lorman, MS to the union of the late Robert Wilson Sr. and Mary Nell Nealy. She attended high school in Boston, MA. She relocated to New Orleans, LA and married Audie Nero in 1974. She furthered her education by obtaining her diploma as a Surgical Technician from Charity School of Surgical Technology. She later pursued a degree in Practical Nursing and later graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Bishop State Community College. Kayren worked in the surgery department at Ochsner Baptist Hospital for forty years and recently retired on April 30, 2021. Kayren is survived by her husband Audie Nero; her children, Michael Encananzie and Jarrod Nero (Warnell); Grandchild Journey Tegan Nero; siblings, Tiffany Wilson (Marcus), Patricia Adams of Houston, TX; Terry Hammitte (Carl), Leatha Smith, Flora Mae Banks, Elbert Williams (Glenda) of Fayette, MS, Canary Carrasco (Bernardino) of Los Angeles, CA, Marion Ellis (Joyce), Rufus Davis (Bobbie), Allen Ellis of Harriston, MS, Ronald Lee of Brookhaven, MS, Willie Hunt (Ruby) of Jacksonville, FL, Albert Wilson of New Orleans, LA and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. I her spare time, she loved to go to the casino, spend time with family and friends, and travel with her good friend Marita Page. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Wilson Sr., Mary Nell Wilson and her brother Robert Wilson Jr. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 8321 Burthe Street on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:00am.
