Evelyn Pugh Gould

Evelyn Pugh Gould passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 80. She was a native of Tuskegee, Alabama and lived throughout her life in New Orleans, Louisiana. She retired from the New Orleans Parish School System as a Cafeteria Worker for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her mother Evelina Pugh. She is survived by her sisters Johnnie Mae Richardson, Ruby Bennett, Elouise Pugh Robinson and brother Christian Pugh, and deceased sister Dorothy Pugh Smith and brother Arthur Pugh. She is the mother of five children: Anthony Gould, Jr. (Dedgria); E. Mechelle Brooks (Charles); Rosezana Gould; Eric Gould (Paula); Jarvis Gould (Virginia). Grandchildren: Brian Gant (deceased); Shante’ Wordworth (Casey); Andre’ Brooks; Trenice Hobson (Robert); LaSchanda Glenn (Clarence); Charles Brooks, Jr. (LaKesha); Troy Gould; Sean Gould (Ailia); Jarvion Gould and Janai Wilson. She was also survived by a host of great-grand children, niece’s and nephew’s, other relatives, family and friends. A Visitation Service will be held at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933Washington Ave. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment: Private. Arrangements by D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue. Due to COVID-19 restrictions MASKS are required.
