Dionne Turner affectionately known as “Dee-Dee” entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 49 years old. She was born April 5, 1971, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the lovely union of Bessie Taylor Turner and the Late Bertrand Turner. She received her Lord and Savior at and early age. Dionne was Baptized and made her first communion at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School, Bobcats Class of 1989. Dionne was a Dental Hygienist for over 20 years. Dionne leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted companion Edward Nedd. Her beautiful children Anthony Turner Sr. and Skyy Cionne Turner; grandson Anthony Turner Jr.; Daughter in law Brynisha Carter; her Mother Bessie Taylor Turner; beloved sisters Karen Turner, Terri Turner, Sheryl Turner, and Ashley Turner; Nephews Ricky Webb Jr. and Kenneth Franklin Jr.; Nieces Kellie Turner, Malquin Gordon and Kendryl Franklin; Great Nephew Ricky Webb III; Great Nieces Treasure Butler and Lavannah Turner; Father-in-law, Theodore Reed; Mother-in-law Jean Cain; Sister in laws Brenda Nedd-Wilson, Linda Cain-Williams and Metrell Cain; Brother in laws Harrison Nedd Sr., Darryl Nedd, Kenneth Cain, Malcolm Gordon, and Kenneth Franklin Sr. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends of Francis T. Nicholls, Elmwood Dental, Delta World Tires, Premium Parking, Civil District Court for Orleans Parish and Hampton & Harrison Law are invited to attend a homegoing and celebration of life at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 2428 Flood Street, New Orleans, Louisiana 70117 on Saturday, March 20, 2021 visitation 9:00am to 10:00 am, service 10:00am. As mandated by the State of Louisiana due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance is limited. Everyone is required to adhere to all restrictions.
