Devin Duane Timmons Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Devin Duane Timmons was born on June 2, 1983 to Mary L. Timmons at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He grew up in New Orleans East, graduated from the St. Peters GED program, and was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. Devin or Diesel, as he was sometimes called, was Mary’s second born son. Like his big brother, Devin was known for calling his momma “Mac” and making jokes. Devin was preceded in death by his grandparents Willie F. and Luvina B. Timmons, his oldest brother, Curtis L. Timmons, cousins Terrance E. Timmons and Dwayne Reed, nephew Jayden A. Timmons, and Uncle Larry Timmons. Wango, Curt, Teddy and Devin were loving known as the four Amigos! Devin, a much-loved son, brother, father, and nephew passed, away at the age of 37 on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. He leaves behind his mother, Mary L. Timmons, two sisters, CW2 Whitney L Timmons and Brittany A. Timmons, a daughter, Divine D. Timmons, and a nephew, Amir J. Timmons, uncles Ernest Timmons, Rev. Willie “Tim” Timmons, Karl (Karen) Timmons, aunts Susan T. Ratliff, Lorraine Rodgers, Corry A. Timmons, along with a host of cousins who all loved him more than words can express, and too many friends to list in Gentilly, on the Old Road, and in New Orleans East. A public Memorial Service will be held for Devin at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue, on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm.
