Delores Warren Jones departed this life on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the age of 76. Wife of the late Mitchel Jones Jr. Daughter of the late Purvis and Dorothy Alberta Warren. Mother of Chantel and Timothy (Katara) Jones and Michael (Tikita) Lang. Sister of Bobby, Alton (Margie), Leroy (Melvina), Clyde, Moses (Saveana) and the late Melvin and Felton Warren. Grandmother of Jasmane, Mi’chaelae, Karmyn, Isaiah, Tikita, Kamille, Michael Jr., Chaston and Rayven. Great grandmother of Amaurie, Zamaunie, Zahmir and Avery. Sister-in-law of Margie, Melvina and Saveana Warren and the late Gertie Warren, Elouise Rivers, Lucille Williams, Carol Lewis, Shirley Jackson, Catherine Jones, Joe Louis, Ronald Jones, Van Hurst, and Marion, William, Raymond, Larry and Victor Rhodes. God-mother of David Coleman and Reginald Elloie.. Dear friend of Sherry Williams, Gwendolyn Harris, Millie Oliver Myles, Kitty Dunn, Margie Giatley, Glenda Guilbeau, Debra Julian, Mary Lee Taylor, Lennell Green, Ruth Spears Williams and the late Alice Coleman, Linda Boyd and Thelma Bickham. She is also survived by a cousin raised as a sister, Rosie Hurst and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and members of Friendship Baptist Community Church are invited to attend the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Cypress Grove Baptist Church, 901 31st Street, Kenner, LA.
