Corey LaCour Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Corey Joseph LaCour was born January 8, 1972 to Joyce LaCour and the late Robert Delaney Sr. He was called to eternal rest on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the age of 50. Corey was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School and a self-employed barber for over 32 years. He was a very passionate person who spent countless years caring for his family and others. He was a nurturer with a listening ear, always ready to provide encouragement or moral support. Corey was an awesome man whose strength and courage will forever be remembered. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Delaney Sr. Brothers Robert DeCarmo, Kevin LaCour; sister Talana LaCour. He leaves to cherish his fond memories his mother Joyce LaCour; his companion Tyranesia Thomas; his children Iesha Thomas, Coriona Nelson, Corey LaCour, Tyran Thomas, Tanasha LaCour, Rasida Thomas and Derrick Thomas; one grandchild Juwan Jones Jr.; a sister Jualila LaCour (Tajiri Ujasiri); a brother Robert Gould; aunts Pauline DeSilva (godmother), Lois LaCour, Verna LaCour; an uncle Terry Delaney Sr. and a host of relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held in his honor at Holy Anointed House of Prayer, 1447 Senate St, New Orleans, LA 70122 on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
