It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we share the passing of Patrick Ann Collard, who left us on May 18, 2026 at 70 years of age. While her physical presence is no longer with us, the footprint she left on this world defined by a heart that knew no bounds will remain forever. To know “Pat” was to know a love that was constant, quiet, and deeply felt. She moved through life with a rare, instinctive ability to see exactly what people needed whether it was an encouraging word, a listening ear, or an open door. She didn’t just love her family and friends; she championed them, celebrating our triumphs as if they were her own and holding us steady through our hardest days. She was the kind of person who didn’t just care about you; she made you feel it. She had this incredible, natural gift for picking up on exactly what you needed, often before you even knew it yourself. Whether it was a surprise phone call right when you were having a rough day, or that specific way she had of listening that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world, she was our quiet, steady heartbeat. She didn’t believe in keeping her love to herself. She spent her life pouring it into everyone she met, leaving every room a little brighter and every person a little lighter. To us, she wasn’t just a daughter, sister, mother or an aunt; she was our favorite person, our biggest cheerleader, and the one who taught us that the world is a much better place when you choose to be kind. “Pat” was the Daughter of the late Helen Ruth Louis and James Edwards Louis Jr. Mother of James Lewis, D'vonte Collard and the late Maurice Thomas. Sister of Gregory Charles Louis, Timothy Lane Louis, Keron Euzell Louis Myles. (Deceased) two sisters Sherry Mitchell and Stacy Louis. (Deceased) brother Ricky Louis. Granddaughter of the late Earnest Gregoire and Felicia Thomas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her every single day. We are so incredibly lucky to have had her, and we are going to carry that massive, beautiful heart of hers with us in everything we do.
