Patricia Ann Magee

Patricia Ann Magee, a native to New Orleans, Louisiana, peacefully departed this world on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the age of 70. Born in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Berdie (Magee) Hogan and the devoted sister to James E. Magee, Tommy R. Magee and David R. Magee Sr. (Irene). Affectionately known as “Auntie Pat,” she was a loving and devoted aunt to James Lewis, David Ronnie Magee Jr. (Wendy), Joshua Magee (Candy), Atarah Sevier (Ashton), Jonathan Magee (Erin), and a host of great-nieces and great- nephews. Her life was filled with the joy of witnessing their growth and happiness, and she touched their lives with her unwavering love, kindness, and support. Patricia served as the ‘lead’ majorette at Joseph S. Clark Senior High School and graduated in 1973. She continued her education at Southern University of Baton Rouge, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1977. Patricia’s studies led her to a successful career of over 20 years in the oil industry at renowned companies including: Amoco, Shell and Chevron, where she served faithfully. Patricia continued her professional career with the International Longshoremen’s Association in New Orleans as a clerk, where she remained until her retirement in 2021. Patricia, an acclaimed fashionista with an impeccable sense of elegance and style, was known for her candidness and unwavering belief in what she thought was right. Her resolute spirit and infectious laugh made every occasion memorable. In addition to her bold personality, she had a heart defined by kindness, compassion, and generosity. Her core radiated a quiet warmth and a selfless spirit, freely giving herself to those in need. Those fortunate enough to know her discovered a woman of unwavering love and genuine concern for her family and friends. Patricia will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Though she is no longer with us, Patricia’s boldness will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and cherished for all the wonderful moments she brought into their lives. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the celebration of life at D.W.
