Louise Jane Parker Paddio

Louise Jane Parker Paddio was born on July 15, 1947 in Happy Jack, Louisiana. She was the fifth of seven children born to the union of Joseph Sidney and Irma LaFrance Parker. She departed this life on June 22, 2023 at the age of 75. Louise leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 43 years, Abraham Paddio, Jr.; devoted son and daughter-in-law Brian Paddio (Jamesia); ten grandchildren: Riyadh, Chase, Dylan, Breonna, A’Zhyri, Briyana, Breshonna, Brione, Brian Jr., Brycen and five great grandchildren; her siblings Irvin Parker (Peggy), Grace Ragas (Wilfred), and Anaise Parker LaFrance; sisters-in-law Vera Parker and Sarah Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law Eva Youman and Abraham Paddio, Sr.; siblings Rosie Mae Parker, Joseph Raymond Parker, Anthony Sidney Parker; stepson Dwight Paddio; brothers-in-law Ernest Taylor, Henry Paddio, Eddie Paddio, Joseph Paddio, John Paddio; sister-in-law Elozia Stevens. Louise was a graduate of Scottville High School and Orleans Parish LPN Nursing School. She retired after faithfully practicing nursing for over 30 years. She was a friendly, outgoing person who loved to talk to everyone she encountered. In her pastime, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, watching or reading about current events, going to the movie theater, and browsing through thrift stores for bargains and rare finds. Louise was a believer and faithful servant of God. Her gentle soul will be dearly missed by us all. Relatives and friends of the family, priest and parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11:00 am.
