Keith Fitzgerald Dunn

Keith Fitzgerald Dunn of New Orleans, Louisiana departed this life on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the age of 61. He was born on December 19, 1963 to the late Joseph Andrew Dunn and Katherine Dillon-Dunn. Keith is survived by 3 brothers, Carlos (Ann), Kevin, and Ryan (Sheila) Dunn, one brother, Brian Dunn, who proceeded him in death. He has 4 children from his first marriage: Reuben, Kayla, Bradley, and Dillon Dunn. In December of 2011, Keith married his wife, Dione Richardson-Dunn. With their union, Keith gained a stepson, Devin Richardson. He is also survived by one lifelong friend, Michael Isom. Keith attended Orleans Parish Schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington Senior High School, and went on to attend Hinds College. Keith loved the Lord and would pray prayers as though GOD were sitting right next to him. He loved his family, his wife and the “Dallas Cowboys”. Keith and Dione were definitely a house divided during football season. He has held many jobs during his lifetime but loved being a driver the most. He was employed at Greenleaf Wholesale until 2012 when he began to experience health decline. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph A. Dunn, grandmother Freddie Tillery, and his brother Brian Dunn. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. The Dunn family would like to express their sincere appreciation and want to thank all of the medical professionals who cared for Keith at Touro Infirmary, West Jefferson, and Davita Dialysis over the years. We would also like to thank everyone for your prayers and words of comfort during this difficult time. Dione would like to give a special thank you to her mother-in-law Katherine (Girlie) for allowing her to borrow Keith for just a little while.
