Jasmine Sneed

Our dearly beloved Jasmine Breaux Sneed entered the world on September 21, 1990 in Dallas, Texas to James and Shelita Sneed and transitioned on May 22, 2022 at the age of 31 years old. Raised in Dallas, Jasmine graduated from W.T. White High School in 2009, where she was a Longhorn Cheerleader and a member of the Caballera Drill Team and other extracurricular activities. Jasmine attended Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas and Dillard University of New Orleans. Jasmine was employed at Virgin Hotels New Orleans as a Guest Relations Representative. Jasmine loved the film and entertainment industry and was cast as an extra in the CBS Drama Series, NCIS: New Orleans and the TNT Drama Series, Claws. Jasmine is survived by her parents, James and Shelita Sneed, her partner, Trey Michael Chenier, and their children, Trey Michael Chenier, II, Roze Marie Chenier and Jaxx Michael Chenier. She was the granddaughter of, Yvonne Breaux, Jessie Mae Sneed, Mattie Sneed(deceased), Bernard Breaux, Willie Sneed, Jr. (deceased) great-granddaughter of Henrietta Broussard Breaux(deceased), Lionel A. Breaux(deceased) Edrina Jackson(deceased) and George Jackson (deceased) her beloved uncles Dwayne Breaux (“Uncle D”), Kerry Sneed(deceased) and her beautiful aunts Judy Sneed Thomas, Katrina McDonald and Catha Richmond. Jasmine is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, extended family members and brothers and sisters who loved her dearly. Jasmine was a beautiful spirit who radiated love and kindness. She fostered compelling and memorable connections with everyone she met. We love her and will miss her dearly. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Virgin Hotels New Orleans, Ecole Bilingue de la Nouvelle-Orleans School and Certarus Energy, USA are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70125, on Friday, June 3, 2022. Visitation will start at 9:00 am - 10:00 am, Funeral Service 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Carrollton Cemetery, 1701 Hillary Street, New Orleans, LA 70118. The Repast will follow her internment and take place at Miracles, 3101 Bruxelles St., New Orleans, LA 70119. Free parking is available across the street from the venue.
