Mr. James Anthony St. Julien Sr.

Mr. James Anthony St. Julien Sr. took his place next to our Heavenly Father on March 11, 2021 at the age of 98. He is the beloved husband of the late Selma M. St. Julien. He is the son of the late Jefferson St. Julien and Lucy Detiege St. Julien. James Sr. was born on January 9, 1923 in New Orleans, LA. He was united in holy matrimony to Selma St. Julien on September 28, 1943. From this union, eleven children were born. James Sr. was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. James Sr. was a Master of many skilled trades and a proud WWII Veteran of the United States Army. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Shelita St. Julien-Rhodies, Cynthia S. Guesnon, Phyllis S. Morrell, Sandra S. Mariani, Diana M. St. Julien, Charlotte S. Tureaud, Cheryl St. Julien, James A. St. Julien Jr., Gregory A. St. Julien Sr., and Trina M. St. Julien, two Daughters-in law, Deidra L. St. Julien, and Trudy B. St. Julien. three, Sons-in law, Robert Guesnon Sr., Louis Morrell Sr., and David Tureaud, also four sisters-in law Aline St. Julien, Yvette St. Julien, Wanda St. Julien and Margarite Abdul. James Sr. also is survived by a many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death, by his loving wife of 67 years of marriage, Selma M. St. Julien, his parents, Jefferson St. Julien and Lucy Detiege St. Julien; his brothers and sisters, Harold J. St. Julien, Thomas St. Julien Sr., Elaine St. Julien, George St. Julien, Herman St. Julien, Robert St. Julien, Patricia S. Bennett; His daughter Michelle M. St. Julien-Minor, and two grandsons Donald N. Minor III and Louis Morrell Jr. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave. New Orleans, LA 70119 at 1:30pm.
