It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Herman Tony Hubbard, a cherished father, brother, and friend. Herman Tony Hubbard left this world on September 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy characterized by love, devotion, and selflessness that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Herman, affectionately known as Tony, was born on March 30, 1977, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Conerly Bernard; his sister, Brooke Bernard; and his grandchild, Zaniyah Hudgins. Tony was raised with a profound appreciation for family, a value that shaped his life and the relationships he created. For him, family was not merely a term; it was the very essence of his existence. Whether sharing a quiet evening at home, enjoying a lively family gathering, or providing support during life's trials. Tony was always present with a kind word, a listening ear, and a heart overflowing with unconditional love. He was a proud and devoted fiancée to Tracy Sullivan and father and grandfather to three wonderful children: Dia’vonte Smith, Keshawn Patton, and Makye Hubbard, who brought immense joy to his life. He took immense pride in guiding them, celebrating their achievements, and serving as a steadfast source of strength and encouragement. He is also survived by his father, Herman Hubbard Sr., his grandmother, Viola J. Conerly, his Stepfather Louis B Bernard, and numerous beloved family members and friends, all of whom experienced the warmth and generosity of his spirit. Tony's greatest happiness stemmed from witnessing his family's growth and success, and nothing delighted him more than seeing their smiles. His passing creates a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, yet the love he shared and the memories he forged will endure eternally. While we grieve his loss, we also honor the life he led, a life marked by kindness, dedication, and limitless love.
