Eula Mae Guerin Jeanpierre

Eula Mae Guerin Jeanpierre was born on April 10, 1920, to Marie Derosier Guerin and Samuel Guerin in Pointe Coupee Parish. She was baptized in the Catholic faith on May 22, 1920, at St. Mary’s Church, New Roads, La. She married Wilson J. Jeanpierre to which five children were born: Wilson J. Jeanpierre, Jr., Brenda J. Jeanpierre, Patricia A. Jeanpierre, Ray J. Jeanpierre and Gwenevette M. Jeanpierre. She lived and raised her family in Metairie, La. She has lived for over 30 years in Kenner with her daughter and son-in-law Patricia & Lawrence Cornish. Eula leaves to cherish her memories her children: Wilson J. Jeanpierre, Jr., (Claudette), Brenda J. Jeanpierre, Patricia J. Cornish (Lawrence), and Gwenevette M. Jeanpierre. Her five grandchildren: D’Wan Jeanpierre-Nunnery, Brandon Ray Jeanpierre, Jeanell M. Jeanpierre, Garrard Jeanpierre, and Justin J. Jeanpierre. Her seven great grandchildren: Ramon Malik Jackson, Ky’lia Jeanpierre Williams, Jalen J’Kcaj Nunnery, Ramad J’On Jackson, Kaeryel Dowl, Devin Scott, and Jai’ Gabrielle Jeanpierre Nunnery. One great-great grandchild, Koi Jru Evans. One godchild, Yvonne Guidroz Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eula was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Samuel Guerin. One brother, Adolph Guerin and three sisters: Rena G. Guidroz, Beulah G. Harrison, and Idell G. Brown. One beloved son, Ray John Jeanpierre and one beloved granddaughter, Arleeta Jeanpierre Jackson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1908 Short Street, Kenner, LA on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:30 am. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. As mandated by the State of Louisiana due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance is limited. Everyone is required to adhere to all restrictions.
