Patricia Hubbard

Patricia “Pat” Ann Hall-Hubbard was born in New Orleans, LA on May 15, 1957, to Sarah and the late Nathaniel Hall, Jr. Patricia was a life-long resident of the city which she loved and celebrated its rich culture. She was baptized at Tulane Memorial Baptist Church where she gained a love of God, was active in the youth church and attended Sunday School. She also married Aaron Hubbard at Tulane. Pat graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar Elementary School and attended both St. Mary’s of Holy Angels and St. Mary’s Academy. Pat also attended Carver School of Nursing before working at Lakeside Hospital and providing home health care for the elderly. Pat embraced motherhood as she was blessed to have four children. Her boys, Aaron, Kendrick, Demond and Ronnell brought her so much joy. She delighted in loving and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her house was often filled with laughter and joy. She loved watching her New Orleans Saints, dancing and enjoying her life by doing things in her very own special way. Pat also was known for her delicious cooking. Every meal she prepared was not only tasty but was filled with love. Pat also cherished her friendships, especially with Wanda, Roylynn, Clarice and Denise. Pat is preceded in death by her eldest son, Aaron; father, Nathaniel Hall, Jr. and siblings, Linda, Dwayne and Christopher. To cherish her memory, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Sarah Margaret Hall; children, Kendrick, Ronnell and Demond Hubbard; 10 grandchildren, Arrinica, Erin, Avante, Jay’ron, Kendrick, Kayla, Madison, Tyriel, Shameah and Shayla; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Hall (Ruby); aunt, Elizabeth Hall; cousins, Mary Joseph (Huiet); Trisha Knight and Renee Knight and a host of nieces and nephews, many loving family members and close friends. Patricia’s infectious spirit and kind heart will be missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Tulane Memorial Baptist Church, 3601 Paris Avenue on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
