Bernadette Glover: A Life Filled with Love, Laughter, and Jazz Bernadette Glover, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, at the age of 65. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Thomas and Juanita Glover, Bernadette’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with a passion for her city, a dedication to her family, and a zest for life. Bernadette graduated from Dominican High School and St. Mary's Dominican College with a Bachelor of Science degree, laying the foundation for a successful career on several different fronts. She worked in radio at WYLD, bringing her talent and warmth to the marketing and communications departments. She later found fulfillment as an insurance adjuster. Always eager to embrace new challenges, Bernadette also channeled her creative energy into flipping homes in and around New Orleans, leaving her mark on the city she loved. Bernadette was a woman of deep faith, finding solace and strength in the Catholic Church. Her kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter touched the lives of everyone she met. She cherished her family, finding joy in the company of her parents, Thomas and Juanita Glover, her sisters Donna Glover Crowden (husband Gilbert), Veronica Bohanna (husband Fred), and brother Mike'l Severe (wife Kris), and her uncles, Ernest Johnson (wife Beverly) and Lawrence Johnson (wife Melissa) and Aunt Judy Johnson Glasper (husband Rodney deceased). She doted on her niece and nephews, Lauren Bohanna (deceased), Grant Bohanna, Kennedy Bohanna, Miles Severe, and Logan Severe, and held a special place in her heart for her goddaughter, Aunna Johnson. Bernadette's legacy will be carried on by her loving family, countless friends, and the countless individuals whose lives she enriched. A celebration of Bernadette’s life will be held on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret St, Algiers Point. Visitation will be from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
